The book was originally compiled from traditional sources by Maulana Firaqi who took them from much older sources and oral traditions from the Turkmenistan nomads. These forty questions had been prepared by the elders of the Jewish community of Medina and passed down the generations to ask directly of the long awaited and expected Prophet Muhammad s, to test his authenticity. This elephant was the greatest of all the battle elephants and had proven his worth in war after war. To his own armies, he was sweet-natured and gentle, taking care not to trample or harm any of them.
