The virtue of feeding a fasting person

The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s) told the sahabah that a person who provides food for a fasting person gets the same reward as the fasting person and the angels pray for him because of his actions, Riyadh-us-Salihin Vol II page 611 and 612, hadith 1265 and 1267:

1265: Hazrat Zaid ibn Khalid  Al-Jurani (r.a.) related that the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s) said: "Anybody who offers meal for breaking of the fast of another person earns the same merit as the one fasting without diminishing in any way the recompense of the fasting person." Tirmizi

1267: Hazrat Anas (r.a.) says that once the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s) visited Hazrat Sa’ad ibn Ubadah (r.a.). The latter brought bread and olive oil for him (s.a.w.s). The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s) ate and then said,
”Aftara  ind-akumuwa Akala  Ta’ama-kumul-Abar wa sallat Alaikumul-malaikato"

“The fasting people have broken their fast with you and virtuous persons have eaten food provided by you while the angels have supplicated for you.” Abu Daud
